Ari Davis in Conversation with Brian Michael Dunn and E. E. Ikeler

Hamiltonian Artists & Pazo Fine Art

Hamiltonian Artists, in partnership with Pazo Fine Art and under the auspices of the Hamiltonian Kinetic program, is pleased to invite you to a public conversation featuring Kinetic Co-Chair Ari Davis in dialogue with artists Brian Michael Dunn and E.E. Ikeler on Saturday, May 17, from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at 1932 9th Street NW, #C102, (Enter from 9 1/2 Street) Washington, D.C.

This program is presented in conjunction with Second Spring, the current two-person exhibition at PFA–Washington, D.C., showcasing new work by Dunn and Ikeler, on view through June 7.

The conversation will explore the conceptual frameworks, material strategies, and theoretical concerns that shape the artists’ practices. Central themes include abstraction as a visual language and the interplay between the natural and the artificial—core ideas embedded in both artists’ recent bodies of work. An open Q&A will follow the discussion, encouraging direct engagement between the artists and attendees.

This event offers a rare opportunity to engage with two compelling voices in contemporary abstraction and serves as an introduction to Kinetic, Hamiltonian Artists’ dynamic membership initiative. Kinetic provides members with exclusive access to a curated collection of original artworks available for borrowing or purchase, with proceeds supporting both the artists and Hamiltonian’s mission to champion emerging talent.

In support of this mission, 10% of all artwork sales during the event will be donated to Hamiltonian Artists, thanks to the generosity of Pazo Fine Art. Light refreshments will be provided courtesy of Ari Davis and Your P&rtners, Compass.
